Rose, a native of California, is part Chiricahua Apache and Tarahumara. Soon after high school, Rose began custom dressmaking, and by the early seventies, was designing and making hand laced leather garments and accessories. In 1975 Rose moved to Pagosa Springs, Colo. where she learned the art of scrimshaw and silversmithing.

From 1991 until 2003, Rose lived in Taos, NM, where she began designing and hand painting native drums, and has been doing so for fifteen years. She now resides in Oregon. She is available for custom work, please email us or call 877 34 DRUMS.
